Andrew graduated from high school with honours at Holy Heart of Mary High School in St. John's in 1994. He attended Memorial University of Newfoundland and received his Bachelor of Arts in 2000, majoring in Philosophy and minoring in History.
Upon graduating from Memorial University, Andrew began his legal studies at Ludlow Hall at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton. He was called to the Bar of Newfoundland and Labrador on February 24, 2006. His legal practice has been devoted to obtaining compensation for those harmed by others.
The bulk of Andrew’s work focuses on survivors of sexual abuse. He has been instrumental in obtaining significant compensation for sexual abuse survivors who were resident in Mount Cashel and in foster care. He also has a number of clients who as children were abused by their teacher. Andrew also successfully represents people who have been injured in motor vehicle collisions.
